  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 medium very ripe bananas
  • 2 tablespoons oil or 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • chopped walnuts (I like to toast them first) (optional) or pecans (I like to toast them first) (optional)
