Blog Turns Five!!!! Workshop Weekend Ahead :D

Life Ki Recipe is turning Five this 21st! Five years! Sounds like a real long journey but I have to admit I took many detours on my way. Why I started blogging? Maybe, I just wanted to document the recipes I was trying back then. Maybe, I just wanted to share my opinion about food I was trying at various places but then came a time, when I started teaching cooking and started selling my Bacon Jam and I just got busy. Along the way, also came food styling assignments and crazy amount of traveling for food. As I grew more in my work, my blogging took a backseat and I stopped writing at all except for some PR commitments now and then.

I kind of miss writing. Not that I’m a great writer but it’s just amazing to share what you feel. It gives one a chance to connect with like minded people. It gives one an opportunity to touch another one’s life.

I’m in a real decluttering mode in my life with insane amount of introspection going on. I truly want to go back to basics and learn & unlearn few things along the way. I promise I’ll try my best to revive this blog and start sharing recipes that are close to my heart and my food stories with y’all.

Last year I threw a blog’s birthday bash at Café Nemo, I enjoyed so much being there with all fellow bloggers and friends but this year I didn’t feel like doing it, so instead I’m throwing a cooking party for you. As a Part of blog’s birthday Celebration, I’ll be hosting an open house workshop on Friday 22nd It’s absolutely free of cost, you’d just need to register beforehand. On Saturday, 23rd I have most amazing Salad Class at APB Cook Studio and I’m also part of a Food Photography Workshop organized y Photo Konnect on Sunday, 24th. All the details are mentioned at bottom of this post. But for now, I HAVE TWO MORE ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!

It not only blog’s fifth birthday but also third birthday for my #OMGBaconJam So I’ll be (again) hosting a contest on my Instagram where you can win 1 Kilo JAR OF my #OMGBaconJam!!!! 21st April, Thursday that is!! Also, if you order the jar from Yummade on 21st you’d get 50% discount!!! #BaconJamForPresident

Another news that I want to share is about my Youtubing!

You remember Lady Khakha?? Well, she isn’t around anymore, if you haven’t noticed really! So my contract with fame is over so I’m launching my own BRAND NEW YOUTUBE CHANNEL!!!!! And It’s Called ‘Amrita Of Life’ *Happy Dance* My first Video is very very special!! I can’t wait to share with you!

Do write to me what would you like to see on my channel other than easy recipes!

I’m already feeling very happy after writing all this hope this enthusiasm stays and I start blogging again <3 Thank you for being there & for helping me grow <3
